Homework 4: Mother´s Day

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated in many countries, on different dates, here in Mexico is on May 10th. 
I think that is so important to celebrate the moms, because they are the beautiful, amazing and wonderful humans that give us the life, they care of us since they knew that they were pregnant ando for the rest of our life, they love us so much. 
Around the world, the kids and the husbands celebrate to moms on different ways, some people they give presents such as blouses, jewerly, perfume or maybe money; other people take their mom to a nice and cute restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 
I think that here in Mexico, we usually celebrate the Mother´s Day on family, and we not only celebrate to our mom, we celebrate to all the mothers that exist on the family. In my family, I celebrate to my mom and grandmother, we meet on my grandmother´s house, we eat a delicious food, and for dessert, we have cake :D. 
I usually ask to my mom what does she want as gift, but the gifts that I usually give to her are clothes or jewearly.
